ABOUT THE WORKSHOP INSTRUCTORS:
— JOHNNY DOČKAL —
John spent his childhood in the United States, making English a first language in his youth. He discovered his passion for improvising in 2012. That soon led him to dump his career in telecommunications and rather become a musician, actor and improvisor instead. Since then, he finished his studies at the music academy of Jaroslav Ježek and now – apart form tutoring improv skills – leads a band and acts in his own. He also organises a summer improv camp.
— CICI CLAAR —
Originally from Florida U.S.A., Cici stumbled into the world of improvisation in 2015, and hasn’t stopped learning and playing since. From the embryonic cell of the South Florida improv scene, Cici received instruction from distinguished U.S. improvisers hailing from California, New York, Chicago, Texas, Florida and beyond. She performed as a cast member of the Improv U house troupe „Business Casual“ for one year. Since moving to Prague, she has continued to learn as much as she can from improv instructors in Czech, Germany and Austria. Cici teaches English by day. She really likes geeking out about ways to incorporate principles of improvisation into her everyday work and social life.
