Kdo ta Orla vlastně je?
Órla Mc Govern je improvizátorka / vypravěčka / umělkyně / učitelka / spisovatelka. Nyní žije na západě Irska. Mnoho let působila v USA, kde byla součástí několika improvizačních skupin, jako jsou Seattle goga, Spolin Players, The Seattle Neutrino Project & The Edge. Hostuje ve skupinách Dead Gentlemen, Jet City Improv a v Ryan Style’s Upfront Theatre atd. Jako herečka a vypravěčka účinkuje v divadlech a filmech po celém světě! Pro divadla a filmy také píše. Nedávno vydala svou první knihu dětských příběhů. Pravidelně vyučuje a improvizuje ve své domovině s The Spontaneous Theatre People a s Sky Babies, a působí na festivalech. Je uměleckou ředitelkou The Sky Babies a Moth & Butterfly stories a součástí polsko-irského dua ‚Which Is Who‘. Órla navštívila Prahu poprvé v rámci festivalu OUR Lives a těší se na druhou návštěvu 🙂

Who is Orla?
Órla Mc Govern is an improviser/storyteller/performer/teacher/writer based in the West of Ireland. She lived and worked in the US for many years, where she was part of a number of groups including Seattle goga, Spolin Players, The Seattle Neutrino Project & The Edge, She’s also guested with dozens more including Dead Gentlemen, Jet City Improv and at Ryan Style’s Upfront Theatre. Órla works regularly as an actor and storyteller for theatre and film across the planet over the years! She also writes for theatre and film and just published her first book of Children’s Stories. Órla teaches and performs improv regularly, from at home with The Spontaneous Theatre People and the Sky Babies, to further afield at festivals like FIIF (Finland), Theatre De L’Oignion (France), BIG IF (Spain), Improfest (Sweden), Impro (Romania) and Improvember (Germany) etc. Órla is Artistic Director of The Sky Babies and Moth & Butterfly stories, and half of the Polish/Irish duo ‘Which Is Which’. Órla was first in Prague as part of the Our Lives festival and is delighted to return to this beautiful city.
